About you:
We’re looking for a part-time Data Entry & Office Assistant. Beginning as pure Data Entry and authentication of all of our designer bags, fashions, and accessories, this role can grow and adapt to include more of the candidate's interests & skills! Catered to a fashion-loving self-starter, the scope of this role will favor candidates who are personable, organized, efficient, and detail-oriented. While this role will be working closely with all team members, the ideal candidate is comfortable going to task and managing their own schedule. This role offers a great deal of flexibility, with the option to set your own hours (days, nights, weekends - your call!) after the initial phases of training/orientation - and training hours can be set according to your schedule (within standard business hours).
About this position:
A part-time in-office position with flexible hours, this role is about keeping the operations & product flow running smoothly in the office and within the Love that Bag etc community. The primary goal will be Data Entry of all merchandise, and running all handbags/wallets through our authentication system. Assuming the candidate is up-to-date on that task, there's room and potential for more tasks depending on the individual. These can be, but are not limited to, product writing, blog research & writing, styling, product pricing research, merchandising (both digital & physical displays), shipping, social media, and more!
Desired skills:
- Luxury fashion knowledge and interest – designers and brands, current trends
- Experience with Excel/Google Sheets, and comfort with learning new software - you will be learning our backend system (Shopify)
- Organized, detail and task-oriented, and solutions-based thinking
- Resourceful, confident & comfortable taking initiative
- Personable and friendly
- Post-secondary education preferred, but not required
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills (French a plus!)
- Customer service, sales, copy-writing, administrative, and/or shipping experience a big plus!
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $20.00 per hour
