The qualifications we are looking for :
You enjoy physical work and being outside! You strive to provide high-quality customer service? Then you have what it takes to be part of our team! Knowledge of building materials will be considered an asset.
- Assist with the daily up keep of the department including loading and unloading trucks, organizing stock, cleaning and any other day to day activities as they arise.
- Check shipping documents and verify correct product is provided.
- Must safely operate yard equipment and tools, including forklift pallet jack, lumber cart, banding machine etc.
- Store material in correct locations in the yard.
- Restock lumber bins, shed, etc. when they are depleted.
- Assist in deliveries when required in a safe/timely manner
- Identify and assist customers with advice, information and/or help in gathering and loading orders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, management and employees.
- Forklift experience is an asset but not a requirement as training is available.
- Must be physically fit and able to aid in all deliveries of building supply materials.
- Able to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends
- G license in good standing is an asset
- Hourly wage range is dependent on experience
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $16.55-$18.00 per hour
