Company: Established Underground Water and Sewer Construction Company (in business for over 35 years)
Responsibilities:
- Answering the Phone:
- Professionally handle incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
- Take and relay messages accurately.
- Assisting Upper Management:
- Provide support to upper management with day-to-day activities.
- Handle email and phone correspondence on behalf of the management team.
- Assisting Estimator:
- Support the estimator with job bids and bid documents.
- Organize and maintain bid-related paperwork.
- Assisting Project Manager:
- Assist the project manager with customer communication.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with customers regarding ongoing projects.
- Tender Bidding:
- Search websites for upcoming tenders to bid on.
- Coordinate with relevant team members to gather necessary information for tender submissions.
- Ad-hoc Duties:
- Complete additional ad-hoc duties and assignments as required by the office.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, punctual, and hardworking individual.
- Prior experience in a construction office is an asset.
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
