This is a versatile position that will offer lots of variety in your day, from working as the dedicated Shipper/Receiver, to assisting customers and the Parts Manager on the front parts counter.

More About The Role:
- Verify parts orders and shipments, receiving parts and correctly placing them in inventory
- Load and unload all parts deliveries
- Process paperwork and maintain accurate records for reporting and tracking
- Assist all customers in selecting and locating required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner
- Provide information regarding parts, including their function, prices, application and warranty
- Take orders for parts by telephone, technician counter, retail counter and wholesale accounts
- Pull and fill orders from stock, ensuring that payment is received from retail customers and that parts are billed on the service repair order for internal customers
- Research the availability of parts either within the dealership or from other sources as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Ideal Requirements:
- MUST be able to lift up to 50lbs. This is a physical job that involves being versatile and on your feet for majority of the day, while consistently lifting/carrying/pulling heavy parts.
- Have a strong interest in parts, and possess a willingness to learn, be open to new ideas and have a desire to continually grow and improve
- Possess a strong work ethic with a can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills including the ability to use tact, sensitivity, empathy, and professionalism when interacting with customers and employees over the phone and in person.
- Previous parts experience in the automotive or a related field is not necessary, as we are willing to train the right person
- Valid Driver’s License
