PARTS MANAGER

NEXT Compression, a young, dynamic company providing Parts and Service for the Natural Gas Compression Industry is seeking a Parts Manager to join the team who will supervise all the activities of our Parts Department. The Manager will strategically manage inventory and parts operations to ensure high service levels are maintained for our Field Service Team and our external customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide overall leadership, mentoring, motivation, supervision, and development of the Parts Department.
• · Coordinate the operations of the Parts Department in ordering, receiving, storing, and delivering parts to the Field Service Team at all our Field Service locations in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• · Manage inventory mins and max, turns, and replenish inventory as required to support parts sales and parts availability for field service technicians’ usage.
• · Analyze parts sales, costs, and on-hand inventory monthly, and strategically execute ways to generate sales, meet revenue and gross margin targets
• · Maintain a good working relationship with our strategic vendors, distributorships, and customers; and grow our vendor and customer base.
• · Enhance Parts Department processes by developing and implementing improved processes aimed at efficiency, effectiveness, and delivery of exceptional customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of supervisory experience or progressive experience in a management role
• 5 years parts management
• Journeyman Parts degree or College diploma/Post-Secondary Education in Commerce, Business or Supply Chain Management

Salary: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Experience:

• parts management: 5 years (required)
• Supervising: 3 years (required)
• Compression / Heavy Duty Parts: 1 year (preferred)
