Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and standards
- Measure and mix ingredients, bake items, and decorate as necessary
- Ensure all products are fresh, high-quality, and visually appealing
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely delivery
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing any concerns
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role in the food industry
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Strong understanding of pastry techniques and baking principles
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently produce high-quality products
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
