Southland Pharmacy is looking for a motivated and detail orientated Pharmacy Assistant to join our Vancouver West team!
Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the Pharmacy Assistant will greet customers, verify patient and prescription related data, support with inventory tracking, order supplies, and answer general inquiries from patients.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high quality customer service
- Process written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests
- Input patient and prescription information into the Pharmacy Management System (Kroll)
- Perform all task related to ordering, receiving, returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections
- Accurately dispense prescription medications
- Communicate allergy, interaction, and relevant billing information to the pharmacist
- Adhere to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies
- Any other tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or pharmacist on duty
Required Skills and Experience:
- You must have prior work experience in a community pharmacy or have completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program
- Strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Compounding experience is considered an asset
- Kroll computer experience is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
