Job description

We are looking for a part time or full time Pharmacy Assistant to work at our Dyck's Pharmacists (Springfield) location.

As a Pharmacy Assistant you will be responsible for processing and preparing prescriptions, assisting patients in person and over the phone, cashier duties, preparation of pill packs, preparing deliveries, ordering and inventory management, and assisting the Pharmacists with daily operations of the Pharmacy.

The successful candidate will have:

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to multi task.
• Basic computer skills (experience with Kroll Pharmacy Software is an asset).
• Problem solving skills.
• Previous Pharmacy experience required.

Wage is negotiable and will be based on previous experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
