Pharmacy Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing patient care
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Enter prescription information into computer systems accurately
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and healthcare professionals
- Provide excellent customer service to patients
- Adhere to all pharmacy policies and procedures

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or pharmacy technician preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy operations is an asset
- Knowledge of medication administration and dosage calculations is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal is required
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team is required
