Pharmacy Assistant

The Well-Being Pharmacy is a family owned business seeking a part time, detail-oriented and compassionate Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists with medication dispensing and compounding
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Process prescription orders and ensure accuracy of patient information
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries or concerns
- Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and guidelines

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Assistant is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration and dosage calculations
- Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy operations (Kroll)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Candidate must have a license.

Preferably Punjabi speaking.
