We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team and assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations, as well as excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities include preparing prescriptions, entering patient information into the computer system, and answering customer inquiries. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to the physician's instructions.
- Maintain records of medications dispensed and other related activities.
- Assist in the preparation of medications for dispensing.
- Answer questions from customers and other healthcare professionals regarding medications and their use.
- Assist in the maintenance of pharmacy inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
