Overtime: As per provincial standards - $30.00 after 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week

Requirements:
- Education: Grade 12 and graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
- Experience: On-the-job training provided
Job Duties:
- Receive prescriptions from patients and ensure their accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare, measure, and compound medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Package and label medications, as well as maintain proper storage conditions.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical supplies.
- Process prescriptions by entering patient information and prescription details into the computer system.
- Assist patients with medication-related inquiries, both in person and over the phone.
- Maintain patient profiles, including medication history and relevant health information.
- Process insurance claims, ensuring accuracy in billing and reimbursement procedures.
- Ensure a smooth workflow by preparing and maintaining pharmacy schedule.
- Adhere to pharmacy regulations and standards, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and guidelines.
