Our goal is to provide our patients with all their pharmacy needs including Custom Compounding, Compliance Pill Packaging, Home Health Care and Medical Supplies.

Our company culture is one that promotes a positive work environment and work-life balance. Our Pharmacy is open Monday to Saturday (9am to 5:30pm) and closed on Sunday’s and Statutory Holidays. Saturday shifts are limited as we share a 1 in 3 rotation. Job Description

At Donex Pharmacy & Department Store we are innovative problem solvers that focus on finding a suitable solution for every one of our patients.

We are looking for a full time Registered Technician to work 32 - 40 hours per week.

As a Registered Pharmacy Technician you will be responsible for assisting the Pharmacists with daily operations of the Pharmacy. This includes but is not limited to:

• Processing and preparing prescriptions.
• Performing final checks on prescriptions including custom compounds and pill packs.
• Counselling patients on the use of medical devices.
• Assisting patients in person and over the phone.
• Collaborating with other Health Care Professionals including Pharmacists, Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Dentists, Care Aides, and Support Workers.

The successful candidate will be a registrant with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia, and will have:

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to multi task.
• Basic computer skills (experience with WinRx Pharmacy Software is an asset).
• Problem solving skills.

Compensation is negotiable based on experience level of the successful candidate.
