Can you demonstrate prowess in Phlebotomy, know-how in occupational Safety and expertise in Clinical Tasks? Do you dream of a workplace where your multitasking skills are recognized as a superpower? Well, you're in luck because we're on the hunt for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Phlebotomist/Occupational Health Technician in the charming city of Kitchener, Ontario!
Mission Brief:
As a Phlebotomist/Occupational Health Technician at Apex, you'll be the backbone of our mission to deliver top-notch employee health solutions. Your days will be a blend of administrative wonderment and clinical finesse. From warmly greeting visitors to hunting down information in the labyrinth of Health and Safety legislation, you'll be the unsung hero ensuring our clients have a positive experience.
What We Seek:
- A skilled phlebotomist who isn't afraid to also learn pulmonary function tests, audiometric exams, visual acuity testing, and urine drug screening.
- A goodwill ambassador with the charm of a diplomat and the warmth of a fireplace.
- A researcher with a knack for deciphering Health and Safety legislation like it's a treasure map.
- A multitasking maestro who can juggle administrative tasks, clinical duties, and maybe a few rubber chickens (for stress relief).
- Someone who sees electronic medical record systems as a friendly ally, not a daunting nemesis.
- A team player who can wear more hats than a hat store during a sale.
Why You'll Love It Here:
- We take confidentiality as seriously as Batman takes his secret identity.
- Team integration is our middle name (well, almost).
- Your communication skills will shine brighter than the Northern Lights.
- We thrive on delivering results in an atmosphere of trust.
- Your organizational skills will be put to the test and rewarded with confetti.
- Mondays to Fridays are your new favorite dynamic duo.
- Being part of a Canadian company feels as satisfying as saying "eh" after every sentence.
Qualifications:
- Education in Environmental Health and Safety, Kinesiology, or Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent experience/education).
- Canadian Phlebotomy Technician certification or equivalent education and experience is a must (bonus points for having a superhero cape).
