Layout and Gradesman

Our company works in many locations including CFB Petawawa, Town of Petawawa, Laurentian Valley as well as the City of Pembroke.

Responsibilities

· Knowledge of a construction site layout

· Ability to give grades and elevation upon request

· Install sewage pipes as well as water pipes and drains

· Ability to set up, install and use a pipe laser

· Installation of site pickets with grades for concrete curbs, sidewalks and roads.

· Prepare site to ensure maximum optimization of construction work

· Ensure that all work is being done safely and in compliance with company protocols.

Skills

· Ability to operate GPS systems (preferable Topcon)

· Highly punctual

· Ability to work independently and as a team

· Strong work ethic

· Ability to effectively communicate

· Ability to work well under pressure

· Strong attention to detail

Assets

· Ability to obtain a security clearance

· Provide PPE

· First Aid, WHIMIS, and Confined Spaces

Hourly Wage varies depending on experience – Starts at $26

Salary: From $26.00 per hour
