What we offer:

What you get to do:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other written instructions

· Familiar with construction terms, planning, scheduling, quality control, hydro and document control

• Ability to participate in score carding, forecasting, and 3D modeling with ISO drawings
• Conduct site supervision and client engagement
• Assist Project Manager with progress and schedule updating
• Directly supervise and coordinate daily activities of craft workers
• Preplan daily activities and ensure crew productivity to meet job schedule
• Monitor quality control of work in place by craft workers
• Order and coordinate delivery of necessary materials
• Comply with all documentation requirements and fill out all project related reports, such as: Daily Reports, Safety Reports, ESRs, Inspection Reports, etc.
• Coordinate equipment needs, ensure operators are qualified and ensure that all equipment is maintained, and repairs are done in a timely manner
• May perform related trade work as required
• Implement better methods of production in all aspects of job to strengthen best practices within Phoenix Industrial
• Assist in lay out of work for crew
• Monitor crew installation for quality issues and work areas to ensure quality work is being completed
• Look for ways to improve safety, quality and productivity
• Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures
• Train and instruct crew members in safe work practices for assigned tasks
• Audit safe work practices, ensuring PPE is available and used properly
• Complete ESRs for all workers with a change in job status (transfer, laid off, terminated)
• Train, Coach and mentor on site workers ensuring safety and quality meets and exceeds industry standards

What we’re looking for:

• Valid Alberta Journeyperson Piping Certificate (Red Seal if out-of-province)
• Five years’ experience/knowledge in a oil and gas industry
• Three years’ experience as a qualified and competent foreman
• Previous foreman piping construction experience
• Leadership for Excellence Certificate
• Standard First Aid
• Successful completion of pre-employment weld testing if required
• Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing
• Valid Driver’s License
• CSTS-2020 Ticket
• WHMIS 2015 Ticket
• Valid H2S Alive Ticket (Energy Safety Canada version preferred)
• Valid Fall Protection Ticket (Energy Safety Canada version preferred)
• Valid Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) Ticket (Energy Safety Canada version preferred)
• Valid Confined Space and Entry Monitoring Ticket (Energy Safety Canada version preferred)
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to client site
• Physically capable of performing all tasks required
• Invested in a safety-oriented work environment
