Portfolio Analyst
McNulty Group, a part of Raymond James Ltd., is a wealth management firm located in Markham, Ontario, serving Canadian dentists since 1982. Today, our team manages $550,000,000 for 127 families.
We are currently looking to add a Portfolio Analyst with five years or more experience, with a high level of proficiency in Excel, a positive attitude and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Excel and Portfolio Management Technology Proficiency: Being proficient in financial software and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Data entry: Error-free inputting of financial data into applications and maintaining databases.
- Trading: Accurate and timely execution of portfolio trading while adhering to predefined portfolio strategies.
- Manage Cash flow events to ensure deposits and withdrawals are executed properly.
- Respond to requests for information from clients, advisors and accountants
- Prepare reports for client meetings
- Maintain Client files
- Process account documentation and liaise with Raymond James’ back office
- Monitor: Assist the Branch Manager in the supervision of daily transactions and other reports required by IIROC and the Policy and Procedures Manual, while ensuring strict adherence to professional practices and standards
- Document: Save all policy, procedure and compliance notices for audit purposes and communicate to the team when necessary.
- Ownership: Able to ensure independent and collaborative tasks are completed on time and accurately.
- Perform project-based work and a variety of routine office duties as required
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in the financial/investment industry; candidates with experience working for investment professionals (financial planners, financial advisors, etc.) a must.
- Post-secondary education; Business, Commerce, Economics, Accounting or Finance discipline an asset.
- Enrolment in or successful completion of the Canadian Securities (CSC)course as well as the Conducts and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Web
- Experience with Dataphile and/or Croesus is a definite asset.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills along with a meticulous attention to detail and time management skills

This is a permanent full-time position with potential compensation ranging from $85,000 to $120,000 plus benefits.
