Pride Certified Driver Trainer

Sharp Bus Lines is looking to add a dedicated, enthusiastic, and professional Driver Trainerto our team. Contribute to our unmatched safety record by training new drivers to become safe and professional school bus drivers in Simcoe County. If you are a natural born leader with experience in school bus safety, we want to hear from you!

Our ideal candidate is:

• A strong communicator with exceptional leadership skills
• An innovative thinker who can hold the attention of audiences in an engaging and educating manner
• Comfortable speaking in front of groups of all sizes
• Reliable, with an impeccable attendance record
• Has already completed P.R.I.D.E. Certified Training (not a requirement) or meets criteria of 3 years with a B licence and a clean driver's abstract

Requirements:

• Have PRIDE Certification OR a minimum of 3 years of school bus driving experience (licensed with a B-class licence for at least 3 years)
• Knowledge of South Simcoe County area
• Have a clean driver’s abstract
• Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel is considered an asset

This position is part-time and will require home-to-school route driving, as well as availability over the Summer Break, March Break and PA Days.
