Procurement Analyst
Location: 9094 Cavanagh Road (Ashton, Ontario) Hybrid Model
Reporting to: Director of Procurement

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Analyst with strong management skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing procurement data, conducting market research, and procedure development for construction procurement processes. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to drive cost savings, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth cost analyses, expertly recommending strategies to optimize procurement activities and drive financial effectiveness.
- Uncover valuable insights within construction procurement data, pinpointing cost-saving opportunities and evaluating supplier performance.
- Skillfully organize and present data in a clear and concise manner, empowering informed decision-making within the dynamic construction procurement landscape.
- Provide timely reports on market dynamics, pricing trends, and emerging vendor opportunities, ensuring our procurement strategies stay ahead of the curve.
- Prepare regular reports highlighting procurement performance, key indicators, and cost metrics, contributing to our commitment to excellence in every aspect of our operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Logistics.
- Proven experience in construction procurement with a focus on data analysis and management.
- Guru in Microsoft Excel and experienced in using VISTA is an asset
- Strong analytic skills and problem solving skills.
- Excellent understanding of market dynamics and supplier relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
