The Product Analyst Intern for ESG Data, will be conducting market research, product development, sales engineering, and marketing support to advance TMX's ESG data strategy. In this role, the Product Analyst will work in a multi-disciplinary environment and collaborate with multiple stakeholders including sales, marketing, legal, communications and finance as well as clients and other external parties.Reports to: Senior Product Manager, ESG Data
Key Accountabilities
Market Research - identify emerging trends, regulations and opportunities to solve ESG data needs in the investment community
Product Development - support the development of the TMX ESG Data Hub by executing current strategy, assessing the competitive ESG data landscape, understanding client personas and recommending enhancements where applicable
Partnerships - work closely with TMX ESG Data Hub partners to support sales development and go-to-market strategies
Sales Engineering - support the development of new marketing strategies and global sales campaign frameworks
Marketing Support - improve external facing collateral and develop client communication and feedback channels
Must haves:
Currently working towards an undergraduate degree
An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal, analytical and research skills
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Proven interest/experience/understanding of sustainable finance
Proficient with presentation tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides
A self-starter who is hardworking, flexible and able to work independently as well as part of a dedicated team
Proficient with spreadsheet applications and working with data
Nice to haves:
- Knowledge of ESG standards, frameworks and ratings such as SASB, TCFD, MSCI, ISS and Sustainalytics

- 4 month Co-op/Internship: May 6, 2024 - August 23, 2024
- Hybrid role 2 days in Toronto Office
