We’re looking for a Product Insights Analyst to support the continued growth of our Wealth Products. You will report directly to our COO and work closely with the Product and Engineering Teams. The base salary for this role is: $60,000 - $75,000
What you’ll do:
- Tell a data-driven story of our products and user engagement through relevant insights, conclusions and recommendations
- Analyze trends and own reporting for the product & marketing teams to develop performance metrics and answer critical business questions
- Improve product features and measure the impact of product features and experiments.
- Leverage database querying language on a daily basis to develop data pipelines, write complex queries, and perform analyses
- Collate and analyze quantitative and qualitative data sources across multiple products to understand user behavior and determine how we can cross-sell and market products both internally and externally
- Create and maintain meaningful and accurate reports for other departments and senior leadership to fuel key business decisions
- Summarize insights using visualization tools to present findings to key stakeholders
- Challenge the status quo; shine a light on the unknown – be the catalyst for change and improvement
- Act as a brand ambassador for Mogo, regularly using our suite of products, sharing the brand with friends and family, and providing feedback to the team for improvements
What you’ll need:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a data or business analyst role in a high growth company with a fast-paced environment
- Advanced technical skills including professional experience with database querying languages and data visualization tools – SQL, Python, SAS, Looker, Tableau, Advanced Excel
- Experience creating detailed dashboards and visualizations that are relevant and appropriate for the intended audience
- Fluent in business process analysis and statistics.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and decision making capabilities.
- Proven ability to relay detailed data analysis in a simple, practical and time-sensitive manner
- Experience translating analyses to action items
- Ability to multitask and shift priorities on short notice, including working in a dynamic fintech environment with multiple stakeholders
