Product Integrity Operations Program Manager

About this team

This role drives operations to ensure the integrity of our products meet our quality standards and guest expectations. This person leads processes to identify product quality issues through diverse channels and escalates, develops, and implements continuous improvement actions. 
They are required to be a strategic operator that, both independently and by way of Cross-Functional influence, drives critical quality solutions that advance operational, process, and technological transformation for the product team. 

A day in the life

  • Project manage market crises, issues and projects. As well as providing solutions and consultation from a global lens to market partners during region specific crises
  • Liase with VoG and cross-functional partners to execute product pullbacks and safety recalls
  • Scope issues and create short-term containment and long-term remediation strategy for product quality issues at DC and store and communicate with relevant Supplier-facing quality teams
  • Curate Product Integrity communications to guests, regulators, and internal stakeholders in partnership with Market Regulatory Affairs & Advisory, Legal, Brand and Comms Teams
  • Serve as a Market control gate to review and approve (in local language) any product claims and advertising information before sale, in accordance with global policy and local regulation
  • Operationalize any new regulatory requirements in partnership with Regulatory Affairs team
  • Conduct audits of products and packaging to ensure they adhere to Product Integrity compliance requirements in partnership with Product Integrity Compliance team as needed
  • Global response to Retail Quality Forum
  • Create and deliver localized training to cross-functional partners to ensure Market labelling and product claims compliance in partnership with Regulatory Team
  • Root cause and action plan creation coming out of market CAPAs relating to the PI system, including labelling, safety, claims
  • Communication and operations plan during regional and global product crisis

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s in Science/Engineering, quality and/or regulatory compliance or related discipline
  • Post-Secondary Diploma in Process Improvement, Quality or Compliance will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience in manufacturing, quality, or apparel retail
  • Working knowledge of quality management processes, control documents
  • Interpersonal skills – ability to influence people in variety of functions, motivations
  • Project Management – ability to problem – solve quickly to achieve results
  • Business Process Mapping using Visio or related software tools
  • Audit skillset is an asset
  • Tech savvy with an ability to articulate business requirements so they can be translated into technology solutions

Compensation and Benefits Package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $113,700-$149,200annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
