Production Associate

• This job is located in Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Qualifications

· Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring they match purchase orders and invoices.

· Prepare final shipments, complete shipping documentation, and label packages.

· Maintain proper storage and handling procedures for incoming and outgoing materials.

· Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as necessary.

· Keep the shipping area clean and well-organized.

· Load and unload materials from trucks.

· Receive, store, and issue a variety of materials, hand tools, machine tools, and equipment.

· Verify, document, and maintain records of received items, cross-referencing with packing slips, bills of lading, and invoices.

· Issue tools and equipment to workers as required, manage tool inventory, and track transactions.

· Locate lost or misplaced tools and equipment.

· Conduct periodic inventory checks and maintain inventory records, either manually or electronically.

· Inspect and measure tools and equipment for defects and wear, promptly reporting issues to the supervisor.

· Mark and identify tools and equipment using tags, stamps, or electric marking tools.

· Participate in special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• 5 years of work experience
• English (Written and Spoken) required.
• Require Criminal Record Check.

Additional information

• Full- time, permanent position.
• Must be willing and able to work rotating weekday shifts and or Steady weekends with overtime weekly as required.
• Paid over time after 40 hours worked.

Wage Rate - $23.51 per hour Canadian, subject to Collective Agreement

Drugs – 90% of the total amount payable for the prescription or refill including dispensing fee

Vision -$350.00 every 24 months

Dental – 1500.00 per covered person per calendar year
