Production Supervisor

We are overhauling our St. Bruno plant and are looking for an eager and energetic Production Supervisorwho will report to our Industrial Engineer and be a part of this transformation. As this position will span supervising our production team to overseeing & maintaining our plant assets, there is lots of opportunity to grow.

Here are some of the things our Production Supervisor will do:

• Supervise and plan production by coordinating with our individual department Lead Hands and Inside Sales.
• Interview and onboard new hires.
• Troubleshooting issues with, and ensuring maintenance of, plant equipment to optimize operations.
• Planning and coordinating mechanical maintenance schedule of capital assets with key team members.
• Supporting Production with all day-to-day issues related to welding equipment, tools, jigs and fixtures.
• Managing consumables stock and performing regular inventory checks of raw materials etc.
• Ensuring quality standards are exceeded.
• Completing all required Quality Control and Returned Goods inspection documentation.
• Evolving our safe work practices and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Supporting the efforts of our Industrial Engineer in implementing lean manufacturing initiatives and creating and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Does this sound like you?

• 1-3 years experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Ability to adapt on the fly and a "get stuff done" attitude.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively lead a team.
• Manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
• Work with autonomy and a sense of initiative.
• Possess a comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts with strong analytical and reasoning skills.
• A technical diploma in a related discipline such as auto mechanics, millwright, Electro Mechanic, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Technology or similar education or equivalent and relative industry experience would be considered an asset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French.

Salary: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
