Engineered Pump Systems Ltd. has a need for a Production Team Member who is familiar with pipe/valve assembly (mechanical service, shipping/receiving experience will be an asset). The successful candidate will be a self-starter who enjoys learning and working in a dynamic team environment. The candidate will be cross-trained and will work in all production/service/warehouse areas as required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fiberglass pump stations which includes various mechanical components
• Performing cord changes on submersible pumps
• Interpreting engineering drawings
• Supporting the service team with preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting and equipment start-ups
• Supporting the shipping/receiving team as required

Qualifications

• Team-focused, positive and motivated attitude – attitude is everything!
• Experience in a production or physically demanding work environment
• Function effectively in a dynamic environment with a high attention to detail
• Mechanically inclined
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiar with workplace safe procedures
• Confident with the use of forklifts and small power tools, such as grinders, saws, and drills
• Valid driver’s license
• A minimum of a high school education
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and in great physical condition
• At least 2 years of related experience

Training and related certifications will be provided. The job is based out of our facility in Port Coquitlam.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $25.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
