Our organization is seeking a competent Program Coordinator to join our team and undertake a variety of program management tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our programs, fundraising and volunteers. The goal is to ensure that all program activities are carried out in a timely and efficient manner. The Program Coordinator will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase program effectiveness, budgeting and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth program operations, and providing support to program participants. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong organizational skills, effective time management and communication skills to make a positive impact on our organization. Responsibilities:
- Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities
- Ensure implementation of policies and practices
- Maintain budget and track expenditures/transactions
- Manage communications through media relations, social media etc.
- Help build positive relations within the team and external parties
- Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda
- Ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations etc.)
- Prepare paperwork and order material
- Keep updated records and create reports or proposals
- Support growth and program development
- Organize and coordinate program activities, fundraising events and volunteers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, partners, and other organizations.
- Conduct research to identify new opportunities for the programs and the organization.
- Develop program policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement evaluation systems to measure the effectiveness of the program.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as Program Coordinator or relevant position
- Knowledge of program management and development procedures
- Knowledge of budgeting, bookkeeping and reporting
- Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office
- Ability to work with diversity and multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and efficient
- BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months
Salary: $30,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
