Mission

We are looking for a Project Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will provide support to managers in the financial monitoring and invoicing of projects.

We offer a flexible hybrid working model, allowing you to work from home and from one of our offices in Quebec.

Primary responsibilities

• Meet monthly with project managers to ensure financial follow-up of projects, including invoicing and appropriate revenue recognition.
• Establish and maintain a relationship of trust with internal and external clients.
• Informing management of major issues that may have a financial impact.
• Understand and ensure compliance with the internal control rules governing CIMA+.
• Carrying out quarterly monitoring (projects at risk, unsigned amendments, etc.).
• Responding as quickly as possible to requests from internal and external customers at various stages in the life of projects.
• Write/prepare and analyse reports required by the financial management team.

• College diploma in accounting or equivalent.
• Three years' experience in a similar position.
• Fluency in spoken and written French and an intermediate level of spoken and written English in order to communicate effectively with our various stakeholders at national level.
• Experience or in-depth knowledge of Excel and the Office suite.
• Knowledge of Microsoft GP or Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset.
• Experience in a consulting engineering firm (an asset).
• Ability to work simultaneously with multiple stakeholders and meet tight deadlines.
