Construction Project Manager - Residential and Multi-Unit Projects
About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee
residential and multi-unit projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the
construction process from conception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time,
within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role demands a dynamic individual
who excels in construction management, possesses outstanding leadership qualities, and is
adept at problem-solving and adapting to changing circumstances.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
Meet contractual conditions of performance.
Review the work progress on a daily basis.
Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses.
Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Proven working experience in construction management or a related field.
Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules,
regulations, and quality standards.
Strong leadership and human resources management skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to plan and see the “big picture.”
Competent in conflict and crisis management.
Must be well-organized and detail-oriented.
