Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision, assists in managing fiber optic projects related to reservoir diagnostics.
- Provides technical and operational expertise to customers in a professional manner.
- Assists in coordinating project activities across functional groups.
- Professionally communicates with internal and external customers as presentation delivery is a significant portion of this role.
- Job tasks, properly completed, impact directly on cost containment, efficiency, or profitability of operations.
- Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined.
Qualifications:
- Skills acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering or a related math or science discipline, and 2 -7 years of related experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong customer and technical communication skills highly preferred.
- Ideal candidate possess experience in fiber optics either as an engineer or analyst.
- Experience hydraulic fracturing operations, SAGD instrumentation and oilfield fiberoptics would be considered an asset.
