Project Manager - Civil Construction

Sumas Construction & Excavating is hiring a Project Manager (Full time). Project Manager is in charge of planning, organization and management of Civil Construction Projects.

Job Summary

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager for construction projects. You'll manage documentation, track materials, oversee progress, and coordinate with teams, so strong communication and construction know-how are a must.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Maintains daily time sheets, changes, billings and daily reports.
- Assists with orders, schedules and tracking materials
- Assists with the Preparation of purchase orders, subcontracts and change orders
- Monitors project progress and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations
- Conducts regular site visits to inspect work progress and address any issues or concerns
- Responsible for implementing effective project management strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity
- Develops and maintains project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks
- Coordinates and communicates with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams

Must Haves:

- Minimum 5 year Project Manager experience with a Civil Contractor or General Contractor
- Strong communication skills
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Proven ability in project management, including planning, organizing, and coordinating resources

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
