Position Summary

A Property Maintenance Person is an on-property professional who completes daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance tasks enthusiastically and precisely. They will directly report to the Property
Maintenance Manager and be jointly responsible for the overall sound operation of building systems, the appearance/cleanliness of the buildings/property, and responding to after-hour building alarms as necessary. The Property Maintenance Person is responsible for the exterior cleaning and upkeep of the building façades and hardscape stone. Pressure washing and caulking experience is considered an asset.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience in Property Maintenance or a related trade is deemed an asset. Exceptional independence and the ability to manage their daily schedules for efficiency of onsite hours. Proven skills and commitment to the property's maintenance and upkeep. Ability to successfully multi-task and manage several tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication, both written and verbal English. A functional understanding of mechanical equipment. The ability to perform demanding physical requirements such as cleaning pools, pressure washing, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting 50 lbs is a must. Able and willing to work a flexible schedule and be available to respond to building alarms when necessary.

Overview of Responsibilities

The operation and cleanliness of Mechanical rooms, Building Systems and Building Exterior.

Day-to-day building inspection and maintenance operations, providing on-site support to house staff or management when needed. Keep the maintenance storage barn clean, organized and presentable.
Participate in weekly maintenance team meetings. Ensure proper Property Maintenance by examining areas daily for cleanliness and sound mechanical operation. The collection and removal of garbage and recycling, contractor escorting, pool maintenance, snow removal and other custodial duties.

Demonstrate an ability to self-motivate and achieve results of cleanliness and organization. The ideal person has a keen eye and takes the initiative to be sure all areas of the property are presentable to the highest standard. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the maintenance and management team.

Skilled trade and or pool maintenance experience would be considered an asset.

The annual Salary Range posted is not Firm and to be Discussed (Based on Experience)
