- Act as main contact and liaison for tenants (both new and existing) as well as all internal and external partners
- Negotiate new and renewed leases, ensuring all terms and contractual obligations are met
- Liaise with property administrators and other support staff
- Preparation of budgets for capital expenditures for buildings
- Acting as a project manager on behalf of the owner to monitor project costs and progress - Maintain property management records
- Develop and monitor annual operating budgets for properties
- Provide monthly operating reports
- Maintain updated tenant information
- Review supplier agreements and recommend for approval by the senior management team
- Collect lease payments and damage deposits. Follow-up with delinquent accounts
- Strong time management and organization skills; ability to master a heavy workload
- Previous Commerical Property Management experience is required
- Exposure to and understanding of general accounting principles
- Understanding of building maintenance and commercial construction, project management, and planning
- Well-developed critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- High level of integrity, accountability, and sound business ethics
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and oral)
- Strong interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, people management, and negotiation
- Financially adept with strong budgeting skills
- Computer aptitude, and the ability to learn new software as required
