Bridge City Medical is currently looking for 1 full time Medical Administrative Assistant or equivalent to become a part of our management team as our Reception Team Lead. This individual must possess a pleasant, positive and professional attitude to inspire a team environment.
Duties will include:
General reception duties
Overseeing the day to day operations of the reception department
Ordering supplies
Preparing the staff schedule
Delegating daily reception duties and break assignments
Resolving scheduling conflicts as they arise
Conducting staff meetings as needed
Reviewing timesheets for staff payroll
Participating in interviews and coordinating the training of new staff
Participate in staff reviews
Contribute to the resolution of staff conflicts
Preparing daily monetary transactions for the accounting team
Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements and skills
Team player
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Organizational and time management skills
Decision-making, critical thinking and problem-solving
Previous experience in management is an asset
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Knowledge of Saskatchewan Labor Standards
Basic knowledge of eHR and medical billing
Basic knowledge of other computer platforms such as gmail, google drive and excel.
