THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently seeking a passionate Talent Acquisition Coordinator with a background in Hospitality or Supply Chain and Logistics to join our HR Team. This role is ideal for a people person who is extremely organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong sense of urgency.
As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will play a vital role in sourcing, attracting, and retaining skilled Motor Coach Operators, Heavy Equipment Operators, Dispatchers, and Heavy-Duty Mechanics.
YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and recruit talent, focusing on Motor Coach Operators, Class 1 or Class 2 Drivers, and Tradespeople.
- Prepare and post recruitment advertisements, notices and promotions.
- Collect and conduct phone screening of applicants.
- Advise job applicants of employment offers and terms and conditions of employment.
- Provide exceptional experience for applicants, guiding candidates through recruitment and ensuring positive and respectful interaction.
- Proactively work with the HR Team and supervisors to understand project requirements and workforce needs, ensuring a seamless recruitment process.
- Conduct reference and background checks.
- Attend and lead career fair events.
- Support new hire onboarding, offboarding and documentation collection. ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
- Other duties as required.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Previous experience working in hospitality or supply chain logistics is a significant asset.
- Tech-savvy and has ideally worked with applicant tracking systems and databases.
- Knowledge of recruitment strategies and building partnerships with schools and alumni organizations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Passion for social media creation and execution for the purposes of recruiting.
- Take pride in your work and pay strong attention to detail.
The successful candidate will undergo a police background check.

Salary: $20 - $22 per hour depending on experience.
