The Regional Sales Manager mandate is to achieve sales objectives and win market share of select L’Oreal Dermatological Beauty brands through leadership of a team of best-in-class Account Executives servicing retail partner distribution in the Ontario Region.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Recruit and develop Account Executive field team skills and effectiveness to deliver optimized brand potential.
- Foster team dynamics to ensure effective and successful onboarding of new hires as well as a strong collaborative field support system.
- Develop individuals to their full career potential including promotions to other roles within L’Oreal or HO.
- Coaches sales team skills both in field in as well as through individual/team meetings and calls. Participate in top door business review meetings.
- Ensure effective territory management through optimized territory Geomapping, call cycles, frequency, call structure & effectiveness KPI’s and objectives.
- Analyze POS and Nielsen data to assess performance vs. objectives, individual team member performance, create/implement team/individual actions to address shortfalls/opportunities.
- Develop strong retail management relations at all levels (store/regional/national) to support brand initiatives.
- Inspire the team to create brand dominance in store through brand/product knowledge recommendations of store sales teams and visual displays.
- Management and optimization of budgets for the Ontario team (i.e., travel, demo, car stock, etc.)
- Establish and communicates performance expectations and track performance of the team (KPIs, business reviews, territory/regional performance).
- Work with brands on marketing calendars, ppk components, quantities and allocations by retailer/region analyzing sell-through/sell-in data and hands on pos feedback.
- Communicate all pertinent market/retailer/competition information to HO/Marketing/KAM’s.
- Work with closely with KAM’s on all aspects of retailer regional feedback, opportunities, issues, and threats.

- Deep understanding of cosmetics retail landscape and ideally within the dermatological skincare segment.

- Demonstrated ability to be proactive and action oriented as well as demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Leadership ability with IT systems (Power BI, Teams, MS office, Sales force etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills
Requirements:
- You have a valid driver’s license.
- Travel is required throughout the year for 1-4 nights at a time.
