POSITION DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Convocation and Registrar’s Office Manager, the incumbent provides a wide variety
of timely, confidential clerical and triage support to the Registrar’s Office. The incumbent maintains the
schedule of Registrar’s Office communications to applicants, students, and internal community. The
incumbent sends out communications through various media as directed. The incumbent maintains
Registrar’s Office records and schedules, creates documents and spreadsheets, conducts research,
retrieves student information and assists with Convocation.
A comprehensive knowledge of St. Lawrence College programs and services are critical to act as a
lead resource.
The incumbent may be required to travel, work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
during Convocation season and other college wide events.
This position will act as a key resource in support of the college’s Strategic Enrolment Management
plan and has a potentially significant impact on college enrolment and retention.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
A minimum of a 2-year college diploma in Office/Business Administration, or Marketing and Communications.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative position.
Other Required Qualifications:
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications
- Knowledge of web-based client information system and functions (e.g. PeopleSoft)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent work ethic
- Attention to detail
- Good customer service skills
Physical/Work Environment Essential Requirements:
The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location or work temporarily from a remote location with reliable internet access, as approved by the College and in accordance with the college’s Telework Policy.

- Support Group: Pay Band E: $27.81/hour
