Have a keen interest in working with innovative technology? Our team of Remote Systems Operators work with a fleet of the latest aquaculture technology to undertake inspections and ensure our marine equipment is well maintained to support the health and performance of Huon’s finfish.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Subsea Manager, the Remote System Operators will:
Working within a team operating Huon’s fleet of specialist remotely operated vehicles to undertake net cleaning, mooring cleaning and inspections
Collecting net cleaning data and communicating between crews to uphold biosecurity measures
Assist other teams with required tasks and general maintenance
This position will operate on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster and will be located at our Storm Bay Regional Site (near Barretta TAS).
ABOUT YOU
Hold a strong work ethic and eye for detail
Well-developed communication skills and ability to build effective relationships
Experience in data collection and using a range of computer systems
Appetite for the continuous improvement of processes and team
QUALIFICATIONS
Current drivers’ licence
Coxswains (desirable but not essential)
