Respite Support Worker

### Duties:

- Provide respite care services to individuals in need of temporary relief from caregiving responsibilities.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and dosage instructions.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

### Experience:

- Previous experience as a nurse or caregiver is preferred.
- Familiarity with medication administration and dosage calculations.
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and strategies.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with patient care.
- Experience working in nursing homes or home care settings is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate care.

Salary: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
