SalaryRAPS is seeking a Support Worker to assist an individual with a Developmental Disability (A6)

Location: Sherwood Park (Rural)
Days: Monday – Friday 8am – 2pm or 9am – 3pm (flexible)
Hours: 30 hours a week, 6 Hour Shifts
Duties include but are not limited to enhancing individual’s social skills, life skills and establishing meaningful friendships, participating in social activities, and various community outings/events (swimming, bowling, gym), personal care including toileting and feeding assistance.
Qualifications and Other Requirements: The successful candidate will have a recent vulnerable sector check and a valid class 5 driver’s license/vehicle for outings. Previous experience working with developmental disabilities is a strong asset. This position is ideal for a socially and physically active person. The successful candidate will have a good sense of humor and be a confident swimmer.
Rate of Pay: $25.25/ Hour & monthly compensation for use of personal vehicle
