- Ability to perform clear and concise documentation.
- Maintain a ‘running record’ for the detox and shelter programs.
- Responsible for ensuring clients are taking their medication as required.
- Monitor client’s safety and well-being, ensuring their withdrawal symptoms are being monitored appropriately, and calling support when needed.
- Ensure clients are following facility rules: documenting and report any infractions.
- Answer phones and take messages.
- Conduct necessary security checks of Centre and outdoor buildings.
- Undertake periodic room checks for cleanliness and or illegal or unprescribed substances.
- General cleaning duties such as; Detox Centre (Common areas, washrooms, garbage removal etc. Mat Program (Sanitizing and laundry duties)
-Willingness to work 8 & 12 hour shifts (44 hours per week) 12pm-12am on weekends and 12am -8am on weekdays.
- Undertake any related duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
It may look like a lot, but it is repetitive and is actually an easy job. It also has a $2.00 differential pay and we are willing to pay for some training.

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
