Job Purpose
As an RV Sales Manager, your primary responsibility is to lead and manage the sales team within the dealership. You will be tasked with driving sales growth, developing effective sales strategies, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This role requires a deep understanding of the RV industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
· Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the RV market, considering factors such as seasonal trends and customer preferences.
· Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring that customers receive an exceptional buying experience.
· Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly, working towards resolution and maintaining positive customer relationships.
· Stay informed about models, features, and industry trends.
· Provide ongoing training to the sales team to enhance product knowledge and improve the ability to meet customer needs.
· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales department, ensuring efficient processes from inquiry to delivery.
· Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
· Collaborate with other departments to manage inventory, ensuring a diverse and well-maintained selection.
· Implement effective pricing and promotional strategies to optimize sales and inventory turnover.
· Stay informed about the RV industry, competitor activities, and market conditions.
· Utilize market insights to develop and adjust sales strategies to stay competitive.
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and other key industry partners.
· Follow all company policies and procedures including Health and Safety rules and participate in all company and off site training as required.
· Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
· 4+ years’ experience as a Sales Manager in the Automotive or RV Industry
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
· Proven experience in RV or automotive sales, with a track record of success in a managerial role.
· Strong leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent knowledge of RV products, features, and customer preferences.
· Familiarity with CRM software and other sales management tools.
