SUMMARY

The Client Development Coordinator is the inside voice of the Sales and Marketing Team. New clients and team members count on you to keep project workflows seamless and efficient. You take full ownership over internal marketing project plans and business development efforts.

As part of this role, you’ll work with the sales team to build and execute on various business development initiatives as outlined in the Sales and Marketing plan, that are designed to reach the department’s goals and objectives. Initiatives include but aren’t limited to research, prospecting, CRM maintenance, proposal support and ultimately helping the agency achieve it’s set revenue targets. In addition, you will coordinate marketing activities for the Think Shift brand that are directly connected to the Sales and Marketing team’s strategic plan for 2024.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

70% Project Coordination (Think Shift Marketing Support)

  • Together with the Think Shift Sales and Marketing team, assist in the development and execution of annual marketing and communication plans,

  • Plan and coordinate meetings for content brainstorms, develop and manage the Think Shift marketing content calendar

  • Coordinate Think Shift-focused digital marketing campaigns by working with sales, creative and digital teams

  • Assist with the management of our marketing automation tool to send out newsletters

  • Collaborate with various teams to create case studies and award show entries highlighting top client work

  • Assist with the reporting on marketing campaign performance and subscriber content consumption

  • Assist with the monitoring of website performance and work with various teams for continued website optimization

  • Assist in developing a strong and engaging presence on social media

  • Manage budget and implementation of annual marketing and communication plans for the Think Shift brand

30% Project Coordination (Think Shift Sales Support)

  • Support sales team by assisting in developing sales assets, proposals and presentations.

  • Assist in the research market trends, account analysis, and new product information.

  • Develop industry specific knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading trade publications.

  • Be vigilant along the way about capturing customer data and interactions with all leads in our CRM (Salesforce, Hubspot)

  • Maintain and build the sales dashboards on Salesforce and Hubspot.

  • Assist the sales team throughout the proposal and pitch process.

  • Develop plans and coordinate marketing opportunities at various industry and agency events.

  • Manage memberships, partnerships and sponsorship opportunities within the industry.

  • Vet new clients (pre-acquisition) to ensure “right fit” (i.e. alignment with culture, services and goals).

  • Provide the team with regular reports on new or on-going opportunities and various sales metrics.

  • Support new business opportunities as required.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong interest and understanding of B2B business development best practices and trends.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategy and tactics, advertising, communications, and design

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with emphasis on strong follow-through

  • Direct experience in a Client Services, Marketing, or Advertising role

  • Highly proactive and self-motivated, yet able to take direction

  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

  • Strong project management abilities

  • Agriculture industry experience is an asset

  • Experience with HubSpot, Marketo, ActOn, Pardo, MailChimp or other marketing automation platforms considered an asset

  • Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, Microsoft Dynamics, or other CRM considered an asset
