Sales Associate

Patio and Home Direct specializes in outdoor furniture and we have been around for over 20+ years. We are currently hiring and looking for a Sale Associate/Customer Support role. We are seeking a personable and positive individual to help us serve our customers. No outdoor furniture experience necessary.

Wages: Starts at $18/hr

Hours: 20-40 hours/week

Language: English & Mandarin

Sales Associate Requirements:

• Retail or customer service experience an asset
• Team player
• Quick learner
• Positive attitude
• Flexible availability (available weekends)
• Basic knowledge with Microsoft, Excel

Job Duties:

• Selling high quality outdoor furniture & meeting customer needs
• Able to manage full cycle sales with strong closing skills
• Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature
• Capable skill level with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
• Must be comfortable with physical labor and some light furniture lifting
• Comfortable using all forms of social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Day range:

• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Experience:

• sales: 1 year (preferred)
• customer service: 1 year (preferred)
