We are looking for District Sales & Marketing Officer in Peterborough. The incoming Officers add value to our customers and has a strong background in produce wholesales.

Job Description:

The effective Produce Sales & Marketing Officer will increase sales by qualifying prospects, providing quotations, taking the lead in building a pleasant sales atmosphere, and ensuring that a prospect becomes a satisfied Speeding customer in and around Peterborough and other regions. In addition, the job is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with current customers to assure their continuing pleasure.

· Working from Home in Peterborough, ON

· Meeting customers at their locations in and around Peterborough, Norwood, Lakefield, Lindsay and other areas.

Requirements:

· Knowledge of produce goods, food containers and packing materials, expertise in the Produce sales industry, strong decision-making, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication abilities.

· Solid sales experience and customer service preferably in Produce, hospitality products and wholesale business.

· Ability to conduct with integrity, always maintain a professional demeanor, and aggressively encourage adherence to business rules and principles.

· Learn everything there is to know about the customers' field operations and the Speeding veggie product and related business lines.

· Possess the capacity to lead by example, cultivate and uphold a strong sense of cooperation, and exhibit high ethical standards.

. Promote new products and market trends to existing and new customers.

. Assist client accounts as a business partner, with an emphasis on assisting the customer in growing their business, giving customer menu options as needed, and employing internal Product Specialists and Culinary Advisors.

. Having valid driving license with good track record and a vehicle.
