CBM is growing and we are looking for a Sales Executive who will represent CBM’s capabilities to create new customer relationships and develop and grow existing accounts.
Description of Position
- Responsible for securing new business opportunities to meet sales goals and build on CBM’s contract manufacturing, OEM and supplying other metal products and parts to support innovation.
- Dedication and accountability for prospecting activities to build a strong sales pipeline and engage new business to generate sales.
- Initiate customer visits and travel as required to develop strong customer relationships and acquire new business
- Prepare and present marketing materials, proposals and quotations and supply contracts for prospective clients
- Respond to inquiries from customers and follow up on customer inquiries, returned products
- Prepare all client communications and correspondence
- Promote CBM and seek business opportunities by attending trade shows, conferences and industry events.
- Responsible for reporting a current prospect list and monthly pipeline showing quotation attainment and sales probability
- Responsible for unit and dollar value forecasting by month/quarter
- Contribute to the analysis of marginal contribution reports which drive pricing strategies
- Actively participate in sales meetings/engineering review meetings and general procedural reviews as it applies to business development and the sales department
- Work closely with the management team to assemble CBM’s sales, marketing and business development plans
- Responsible for accurate and timely feedback of market information
- Assist accounting department with credit and collection processes
- Other responsibilities to support the business
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business or related field. Mechanical Engineering background is an asset.
- Minimum 8 years of Sales experience in the fabrication of commercial & industrial metal products and parts.
- Solid knowledge of contract manufacturing models andMetal Fabrication processes
- Competitive, entrepreneurial drive to achieve results and provide quality products to customers
- Self-starter with proven ability to manage multiple accounts totaling sales volumes of over $2 million
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft based applications and ERP systems
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills required
- Excellent multi-tasking and planning skills with strong attention to detail
- Familiar with ISO Quality Standards
- Focused on continual improvement
