XCMG Canada Ltd. is currently seeking energetic individuals to join a growing and dynamic team as Sales Managers at our Canadian headquarters located in Stony Plain, AB and our office located in Hamilton, ON. In this position, you will be building strong and trusting relationships, building brand awareness, increasing territory sales and meeting or exceeding sales targets. It will be your responsibility to create new relationships within your territory while also servicing existing accounts.
Leading the sales efforts:
- Co-ordination and direction of activities to meet or exceed sales targets and ensure executional excellence and sales growth.
- Provides leadership and coaching to Sales Team members to achieve superior performance and excellent service to customers while achieving corporate objectives for sales growth.
- Proven track record of identifying, growing and developing key accounts and reaching / exceeding sales targets.
- Sales Manager is further required to coach and mentor the sales team through motivation, leadership, and encouragement.
Responsibilities will include:
- Provide leadership in the development and implementation of XCMG’s go to market strategies.
- Cultivate new business opportunities, lead generation, referrals and repeat business.
- Oversee all sales activities within the Channel.
- Forecast and prepare annual revenue budgets for the Channel by account.
- Review of sales calls with senior management, debriefing, and coaching for continuous improvement.
- Ensure accuracy of quoting behaviors.
- Implement organizational strategies agers that align with corporate vision, goals, and strategic priorities.
- Daily use of CRM and to collect live data to make effective decisions.
- Provide aid and direction on pricing strategies.
- Monthly review of profitability for all accounts.
- Analyze, advise and assist in the resolution of after sales service issues for dealers.
- Assist on account receivables issues.
- Develop new areas of business by seeking out opportunities to increase revenue stream while maintaining an acceptable level of risk.
- Overall focus on revenue and contribution margins.
- Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales potential.
- Provide assistance in the co-ordination of periodic dealer council meetings.
- Conduct regularly scheduled ride-alongs with XCMG team members to assess the strengths and needs, market opportunities and solicit customer feedback.
Core competencies:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Successful candidate must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check.
- Some travel required.
- Must be currently eligible to work in Canada.
- Flexibility to work daytime and on occasional weekends.
- Full benefit package after 3 months.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- 40 hours per week
