Your Role
At QUINN, we are getting set to open our new plant and need an energetic, positive leader to help us succeed! In the pivotal role of Sales Operations Manager, we are seeking a strategic thinker who is a highly competent people-oriented, customer-focused, sales support and process-driven individual with a mind for cost efficiency. This dynamic role encompasses administration, sales, operations, design, production, dispatch, people leadership, end-to-end processes, customer experience, continuous improvement, database management and health and safety compliance. The candidate will have a proven ability to seamlessly coordinate these functions to ensure optimal efficiency, high-quality output, and exceptional customer satisfaction. You'll drive a culture of continuous improvement, lead a dedicated team, and uphold the highest standards of health and safety compliance. This multifaceted role goes beyond this description and is integral to our commitment to excellence, innovation, and the delivery of top-notch prefabricated wood wall solutions to our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Sales Operations workflows, data management, production, scheduling, people management
- Building and leading cross-functional teams and culture with fresh thinking and drive for success
- Analyze KPIs, process, production and costs to identify areas for improvements and optimization
- Operate with integrity and ensure adherence to rules and workplace policies and procedures
- Implement and maintain quality control workflow processes to ensure high-quality production
- Effectively build relationships with vendors, customers and teams
- Accountable for all aspects of Sales Operations performance meeting objectives with efficiency
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace
Qualifications
- University or College education (Business/Operations/Psychology, related management experience)
- Min of 5yrs of people management, decision-making, and good judgement skills
- Fluency in English (reading, writing and oral communication) and performing basic arithmetic
- Leading by example with integrity, positive attitude, trust, respect, recognition, and ability to listen
- Effective communication with direct reports, cross-functional teams and management
- Building effective teams that take accountability, have pride in their work, company and teammates
- Creating a safe work environment and culture of diversity, inclusion, equality, and passion for growth
- Performance management, holding people accountable and managing difficult conversations
- Strategic thinking and effectively identifying bottlenecks and solutions to address opportunities
- Effectively lead, delegate and execute continuous improvement and change management initiatives
- Ability to manage, prioritize, sustain focus and in control in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Go above and beyond meeting the needs of the business, employees, customers
- Building strategic relationships with vendors, customers, and community
- Able to learn and manage multiple software platforms (BisTrack/MiTek software an asset)
- Entrepreneurial mindset to improve operational efficiency and customer experience
- Administration, tracking and reporting on KPIs, key results and CIP initiatives
- Effectively manage leads, working with the team and customers to drive initiatives and grow sales
- Basic knowledge of MS Office programs and tools
- Able to work remotely or in the office as required
- Able to work overtime and travel as needed
