Clearstream Filters is a leading manufacturer of liquid filtration products, with over 25 years of growth and knowledge in the industry.
With experienced manufacturing of standard and custom market requests, we are searching for a driven, goal-oriented individual to be responsible for potential and existing sales. This position is a combination of inside and outside sales and will require an ability to plan and strategize to ensure customer satisfaction
A candidate who is motivated to improve existing sales techniques or who has ideas to increase exposure to the industry will thrive in this position.
Responsibilities can include:
- Maintaining positive relationships with clients to secure future sales
- Cold calling potential customers to boost business
- Actively seeking out and engaging in customer prospects; analyze the potential in the market and territories required
- Expedite resolutions of customer concerns and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Achieve sales goals and targets within an agreed upon schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with co-workers and communicate with other departments in house to ensure expectations are met
- Complete sales reports with clear communication and efficiency; inform management on customer needs, problems and future or potential interests
- Anticipate/research competitive options for new products and services
- Potential for extended travel to visit customers on site
- Possibility of attending and managing booth at tradeshows
- Increasing social media and website visibility; updating and making changes to our existing pages for accuracy
- Outside Sales can include travel within Ontario (anywhere from monthly, to quarterly travel) with the possibility of occasional travel to Quebec and Western Canada. Potential cross-border travel only if requested by clients, tradeshows (if applicable) or for potential customers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Time management, prioritizing and organizational skills
- Skills to function efficiently in high-pressure situations
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative, minimum 2 years
- Ability to professionally represent our company at all times
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Autocad
- Knowledge of the liquid filtration industry a plus
- Ability to work with a website to make changes and updates is a plus (or the ability to work with a provider to make changes)
- A technical mind with the ability to source solutions for customers when on-site (preferred)
- Drivers abstract required on hiring
- Class G driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Valid passport a plus (required for border crossing travel)
Salary to be negotiated
5 years sales experience preferred
Filtration (liquid) knowledge beneficial
Drivers license required
English required
French beneficial but not required

Pay: $42,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
