We are currently seeking a Sales Representative - Ontario to help manage the products and services (scaffold, paint, insulation and refractory) that our customers have grown to rely on. The position will be responsible for identifying prospects and establishing and enhancing relationships with potential and existing clients while providing exceptional client service throughout the region.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and document specific Sales goals consistent with the Branch and Regional growth strategies.
- Generate leads and build new relationships with existing and new potential clients.
- Direct and coordinate all Sales activities to achieve Branch, Regional and Corporate growth targets.
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers.
- Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls.
- Manage sales cycle to close new business in all products and services offered.
- Maintain information in SalesForce.com database, manage pre-qualification process, get AlumaSafway on bid lists and track bids on websites.
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identify new sales opportunities.
- Prepare professional, complete, concise, and accurate reports, presentations, proposals, and other documentation as required.
- Coordinate with other sales reps to ensure company quotas and standards are being met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoring.
- Meet with clients and present proposals to clients and respond to inquiries.
- Keep up to date on industry sales efforts and programs in the branch territory.
- Answer customer and potential customer telephone calls in a timely and courteous manner.
- Review and forward incoming inquires to appropriate personnel in a timely fashion.
- Assist walk-in customers with inquiries and needs, perform customer service related activities.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of Sales experience required.
- Post-secondary Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Project Management, or Sales and Marketing.
- Previous experience in the construction industry is an asset.
- Excellent oral and written communication and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills.
- Above average computer skills with the ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Ability to present a professional image.
- Ability to create and communicate corporate strategic direction.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
- Strong negotiation and presentations skills.
- Excellent understanding of the Sales process with the ability to generate leads, close deals and deliver results.
- Valid driver's license.
