Position Overview
Northern Insurance Brokers is seeking a Sales Representative to join our growing Personal Insurance team in Sault Ste. Marie. The candidate will be responsible for achieving new business growth through solicitation of outbound leads, responding to incoming leads, and deepening relationships of our client portfolio.
This position will contribute to our continued growth appetite for high net-worth Personal Insurance clients and cross-selling to Commercial Lines, with the opportunity for referrals within Navacord’s network for Group Benefits and associated products to support our broad client needs.
No prior Insurance experience is required - if you are skilled in Sales and Relationship Management, we can support the development of your insurance knowledge through detailed training programs and licensing support.
Responsibilities
· Target high net-worth Personal Insurance Clients and positively impact the revenue growth of the organization each year by continually growing your book of business.
· Grow our client base through account rounding and referrals/cross-selling
· Proactively manage relationships by understanding the needs of our clients
· In collaboration with the Department VP, provide a strategic overview of the growth initiatives for your prospect pipeline and future growth targets
· Support, mentor, and engage with the Personal Client Service team who service our book of business
· Continuously improve your technical and market knowledge through ongoing training & networking to achieve goals and deliver results
· Be active in your networks and your community, doing your part to represent Northern Insurance Brokers and Navacord as a professional in the marketplace

· Post-Secondary Degree Required, RIBO license and CIP, CAIB designations preferred
· Fluent in English; French is an asset
· Advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, Word

Salary: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
